Whistle Blowers (Pty) Ltd is an independent subscription service, designed to provide employees with the means to anonymously “blow the whistle” on fraud, criminal activity and other irregularities in the workplace.

Whistle Blowers – More than Just a Hotline
More than just a hotline, the Whistle Blowers project management approach ensures the buy-in and support of all players. The team at Whistle Blowers has an holistic approach which include educating all levels of staff on the mechanics and the benefits of the program and motivating them make use of the program and help prevent crime. We also are able to:
- identify criminal activity by recruiting the services of honest employees
- qualify the information received at the Communications Centre
- provide feedback in the form of comprehensive reports
- advise on the course of action offers on-going project management, and
- facilitates appropriate resolution
Whistle Blowers is a 24-hour call centre. All calls are fielded by multilingual operators, trained to obtain the maximum relevant information from the informant. Operators furthermore task informants to obtain additional information for complete disclosure. Whistle Blowers is also equipped with a panel of topic specialists and language specialists to field incoming calls. No calls are answered by an answering service.
Callers are given the opportunity to remain anonymous. In this instance, the caller is given the option of providing a code name or the operator assigns a unique reference code in case of future calls or a claim of a reward. All calls are recorded for operational purposes and future reference. Under no circumstances will Whistle Blowers make tapes available to clients or any individual other than management of Whistle Blowers.
Under no circumstances are any parties other than management of Whistle Blowers permitted to listen to recordings, to avoid voice recognition by a third party. All the fully trained and experienced operators sign strict secrecy and confidentiality documents and are further monitored periodically using truth verification testing. |
